Musical Drama Theater in Donetsk

 Donetsk Regional Academic Ukrainian Musical Drama Theater in 2003, said 75-year anniversary since its foundation. It is in the walls of this theater was born the idea of holding regional theater festivals "Theatrical Donbas" and "Golden Key".

 In August 2001, for significant achievements in the development of Ukrainian theater Donetsk Regional Academic Ukrainian Musical Drama Theater for the first time in the history of Ukrainian independent state receives the status of the Academic.

 In 2004 completed major repairs to the building of Donetsk musical and dramatic theater, the stage was equipped with modern technical equipment. Today in the repertory there are more than 30 works, as Ukrainian classical drama and modern world.
