John Chrysostom Church in Yalta

 Church of St. John Chrysostom was built in the heart of Yalta, on the dais Polikurovskogo hill. The temple was built at the personal request of the governor of the Novorossiysk Territory Count Vorontsov at public expense - as the cathedral church of the future city.

 The first cathedral church in Yalta was built by the architect's drawings Torricelli. Crowned with a temple, five tent domes covered with gold leaf.
