Central Park of Culture and Rest Shcherbakova Park in Donetsk, is named in honor of Alexander Sergeevich Shcherbakov - Secretary of the Donetsk Oblast Party Committee in 1936-1938. The park was founded in 1932.
In 2006, there was a complete reconstruction of the park. Main architect of the project spoke VI Romanchikov. In 2007, the park was established and launched a new fountain that consists of 6 cups, lined with marble. Thus each bowl has its own pattern of jets. Even in the fountain uses 200 lamps and 486 nozzles for the distribution of jets. Also in the park operates 23 attractions and boat station to hire boats and catamarans.
