Park High Castle Lviv is a monument of landscape gardening art of local importance and is part of the NATURAL-reserved fund of Ukraine. The park was founded in 1835. The total area of the park is 36 hectares.
High Castle consists of two terraces: the lower and upper. On the upper terrace is an artificial mound with a viewing platform, the remains of the fortress walls of the castle built by Polish kings, and Lviv telecentre and television relay tower height of 192 meters. The park is growing number of deciduous trees: birch, poplar, ash, linden, maple, sycamore, chestnut, acacia.
Park High Castle is a wonderful place for family holidays or even just walking.
